Lauren and Ryan’s perfect wedding day at Rustic Pine Farms in Boaz, Alabama was full of sweet moments, freezing temperatures, and a fun-filled dance floor. It was truly the dreamiest day.
But that cold, January wedding wasn’t part of their original plan. Lauren and Ryan aimed to ring in 2021 with a NYE wedding, that is, until COVID swept in and took it away.
Any bride who’s gotten married in the middle of this pandemic can tell you her biggest fear was being forced to change her date because of COVID. When Lauren and Ryan tested positive just days before their big day, this fear became a reality.
It’s pretty clear that Lauren and Ryan’s love for each other more than made up for the last-minute change of plans.
Over time, Lauren had written notes to her future husband in a notebook that she surprised and gifted to Ryan before their first look.
And let me tell you…
it was A tear-jerker, for sure! That first look moment and all the sweet emotions kept the momentum throughout the ceremony as the bride and groom exchanged their own heartfelt vows.
It was all worth the changes of plans.
And it was well worth the wait.
So here’s an encouragement for all the brides-to-be in this chaotic season:
No matter what life throws at you, your day will be exactly what you wanted and more.
Lauren and Ryan’s wedding turned out to be the most beautiful day. From the sweetest, handwritten vows I’ve ever heard, to the bride and her crew breaking it down on the dance floor, January 9 was their perfect day all along.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis!!
It was so fun to celebrate you at Rustic Pine Farms.
